Their primary role is to support Investment Operations Traders. This individual is responsible for helping to set up new accounts in our trading and portfolio accounting software. They are responsible for auditing and reviewing Cash Holds, Restrictions and assisting with building Drift Analysis reports with Traders and Advisors.  A Trading Associate must understand how their work impacts Trading, Advisors, and clients. A successful Trading Associate will assist with data quality control, free up time for Traders and Sr Traders, and excel at performing all job duties described below. 

Essential Responsibilities

• Set up new client accounts for trading accurately and in a timely fashion in our Trading and Portfolio Accounting systems, and communicate clearly and concisely with Traders and Advisors once accounts are funded
• Run periodic audits for
  • Cash Holds
  • Trading Restrictions
  • Drift Analysis
• Assist or complete monthly GIPS reviews for Trading cases.
• Complete certain cases for clients, including but not limited to:
  • Funds out
  • Add / Remove Restrictions
  • Allocation Change
• Collaborate with Associate Advisors and Traders to maintain a schedule of upcoming Client Review meetings and prioritize accounts that need to be rebalanced
  

Experience and Education:

• Undergraduate degree required. Major in business, accounting, finance, or economics preferred.

 

Skills and Knowledge: 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite preferred, with a focus on Excel
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)
• Familiarity with the stock market
• Displays initiative and willingness to learn
• Notable analytical skills
• Continuously demonstrates personal integrity and honesty and can deal with confidential information
• Excellent time management, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems

Compensation

We have a robust compensation model. Fixed compensation includes a base salary and certification-designation-degree pay. Variable pay consists of a revenue pool program and kicker incentives. All advisory teams receive a % of managed AUM billing.

Retirement

401(k) pre-tax or post-tax at a 4% total compensation match, Annual Profit Sharing currently at 9%.
